Ex-employee story

'I worked at the trust for 19 years and left after enduring bullying and discrimination due to a long term health condition whilst working in my department. Both of my direct line managers left me feeling worthless and incompetent, leaving a detrimental impact on my health and well-being. The culture in my old department is toxic and quality and patient safety will never improve whilst individuals in a management position are hubristic and refuse to learn.

It's very upsetting to see a trust I was once passionate about being completely ruined by incompetent actions of individuals.

I now work at a different trust where I feel valued and treat with respect and trusted by management to get on with my job instead of being on my case all of the time.'
